Jason Edward grew up in Chicago, where music was always a part of his life. He played guitar in several bands during high school and began writing original music. His creative passion led him to Los Angeles in 2007. Upon arriving in LA, his first industry job was for CIA Record Label, where he quickly learned about the music business during The Police "Reunion Tour." Jason took this knowledge and fused it with his childhood projects, building his sound through a fusion of genres. Through the years, Jason Edward has topped charts with his eclectic style, creating and DJing a different, but likable sound for all ears to enjoy.

Jason is a master at remixing and resurrecting old classics through a new light. Jason and Chicago native Dani Deahl collaborated to remix a modern version of Dr. Dre's "Next Episode." The remix earned recognition by Insomniac, Run The Trap, and other major blogs. "Next Episode" was played in major DJ sets by Jazzy Jeff, Krewella, Sidney Samson, and MAKJ. Later, Jason teamed up with DJcity's very own Kid Cut Up to put a new spin on "Can't Stop" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. "Can't Stop" quickly earned 2nd most-downloaded track in September 2015 and 5th most-downloaded for the entire year of 2015, including three of the largest record pools. Other notable throwback remixes: Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Earth, Wind & Fire's "September." Jason's music has gained airplay on major radio stations like LA's Power 106, XM Radio, DJcity podcasts, and other major stations and podcasts globally.

Jason DJs and performs live all over Los Angeles. He has DJ'd a wide range of venues from the Belasco, The Room Hollywood, Pitfire, Sutra, and King King, as well as a variety of private events. In 2009 he opened for LMFAO and Far East Movement on their "Party Rock Tour." He is known to have a diverse style, which makes him easily bookable for a wide range of events. Through his many styles of music, he can easily read a crowd and bring something familiar, fun, and new to each DJ performance.

Jason continues to shape his own sound and brand by producing and writing his own music — and even directing and editing all of his music videos. He believes his art and vision are larger than just audio.
